THERMODYNAMIC AND PHYSICAL PROPERTIES STORED IN TABLES FOR MULTISTREAM HEAT EXCHANGER SIMULATION.

Summary

IN THE SIMULATION OF HEAT EXCHANGERS, THE OVERALL COMPOSITION OF EACH CURRENT REMAINS UNCHANGED THROUGH THE EXCHANGER, SO THAT ONLY PRESSURE VARIES BECAUSE OF THE PRESSURE DROP. THIS ENABLES ONE TO PRESENT PHYSICAL AND THERMODYNAMIC PROPERTIES IN TABLES AS A FUNCTION OF PRESSURE. 1. A RECOMMENDATION IS PRESENTED FOR THE CALCULATION OF PHYSICAL AND THERMODYNAMIC PROPERTIES IN LIGHT HYDROCARBON SYSTEMS AT CRYOTEMPERATURES ; 2. A CALCULATION PROCEDURE IS DESCRIBED ; 3. THE USE OF TABLES IN A COMPUTER PROGRAMME FOR A MULTISTREAM HEAT EXCHANGER IS DESCRIBED.
