Summary

The paper presents the description of an experimental device used for the study of the global heat and mass transfer, coefficients of falling films on the wall of a vertical tube absorber. The experimental data obtained for the calculation of the global heat transfer coefficients using ammonia-water solutions is shown for close concentration differences at close to ambient temperature and atmospheric pressure.
