Summary

FORMULAE ARE EMPLOYED TO CALCULATE THE EFFICIENCY DECREASE OF NON-STATIONARY WORKING REFRIGERATING MACHINES IN WHICH THE CYCLES COMPOSED OF ANY TWO ISENTROPIC CHANGES ARE CARRIED INTO EFFECT. TO THIS CLASS BELONGS, EG THE JOULE CYCLE. IT IS STATED THAT THE COEFFICIENT OF THE EFFICIENCY DECREASE FOR THE POLYTROPIC CYCLE CAN BE STATED WITH SUFFICIENT PRECISION BY APPLYING SIMPLER PATTERNS FOR THE EQUIVALENT CARNOT CYCLE.
