Thermodynamic properties of the alternative refrigerant R143a.

Summary
Results of measurements of the thermodynamic properties of R143a are reported. Vapour pressures were determined and, through a Wagner-type equation, described, for temperatures from 225 K to the critical point (346.18 K). In liquid phase and in supercritical state, densities were determined in the temperature range 243-393 K for pressures up to 18 megapascals. Densities were also measured between 263 and 413 K in gas phase and in supercritical state.
