Thermodynamic property measurements for HFO-1234yf and its binary mixtures.

Summary

A set of thermodynamic properties for HFO-1234yf and its blend with HFC-32 is presented in this paper. HFO-1234yf is one of the promising alternative refrigerant because of its zero ODP, and quite small GWP. Despite an increasing demands for its thermophysical property, there exist very limited reports even for pure component. In the present study, therefore, the authors aimed to obtain a set of single-phase PVTx properties and vapour-liquid equilibrium properties by means of a dual-sinker magnetic levitation densimeter and a syringe-circulation equilibrium apparatus. In this paper, isothermal VLE properties obtained at 280 K are presented. An available equation of state were compared with the present measurements.
