Summary

FROM DETAILED THERMODYNAMIC STUDIES IT HAS BEEN PROVED THAT THE COLD-AIR REFRIGERATING MACHINE WITHIN THE TEMPERATURE RANGE FROM LOW-TEMPERATURE TO FROZEN GOODS STORAGE MAY BE EQUIVALENT TO THE COLD-STEAMREFRIGERATING MACHINE IN TERMS OF ENERGY IN ADDITION TO A NUMBER OF OTHER KNOWN ADVANTAGES WHEN FLOW MACHINES ARE USED WITH A HIGH ISENTROPIC QUALITY LEVEL FOR COMPRESSION AND EXPANSION. FOR THIS REASON, INCREASED ATTENTION SHOULD AGAIN BE PAID TO THE COLD-AIR REFRIGERATING MACHINE WITHIN LOW TEMPERATURE RANGES.
