Type of article: Article
Summary
The principles of the two operating stages of an adsorption-accumulator heat pump are described: reclaiming the adsorbant, and adsorption. Performances are influenced by the thermophysical properties of the systems used, mostly: silicagel-water; zeolite-water and inorganic salt-water. The results of tests are presented, and the diffusion coefficients in a cylindrical granule of the adsorbant were determined. C.C.
