Summary
THREE-CHANNEL RECUPERATIVE HEAT EXCHANGERS HAVE APPLICATIONS IN CERTAIN GAS LIQUEFACTION SYSTEMS AND OTHER CRYOGENIC PLANTS. THE BASIC HEAT TRANSFER EQUATIONS FOR THESE HEAT EXCHANGERS ARE DERIVED AND MATHEMATICAL METHOD FOR EVALUATING DESIGN PERFORMANCE DATA IS PRESENTED. COMPARISON IS MADE WITH THE CONVENTIONAL TWO-CHANNEL HEAT EXCHANGER.
