Summary
A complex geometrical structure of Fermi surfaces of metals promotes different anomalies in the metal behaviour under extreme conditions, ie, at low temperatures, in high magnetic fields, on short-wave sound propagation, at high pressures. Many properties of the metals correspond to the geometrical structures related to the Fermi surface. The nature of the anomalies is the geometrical structure modifications due to external factors. These are called topological transitions.
