Total quality index and evaluation of the multi-factor effect on shelf life of refrigerated foods.

Summary
The proposed approach is an attempt to associate the total quality, shelf life and the kinetics of quality decay. The proposed model for controlled-atmosphere-packaged/modified-atmosphere-packaged chilled food generalises the effect of two factors: temperature and oxygen concentration. The suggested model covers the known models which are only temperature dependent.
