By focusing on eliminating routine fuel gas purging, improving warm ship handling, and deploying direct cooldown methods, OLNG has transformed its flaring challenges into opportunities for environmental and operational excellence. Backed by a robust in-house flare quantification system, these initiatives demonstrate OLNG’s commitment to sustainability, innovation, and regulatory alignment under the broader OPAL energy transition roadmap. This poster summarizes the multi-pronged approach, outcomes achieved, and lessons learned to inspire scalable solutions across the LNG industry.
