Summary

The Decree dated July 20, 1998 replaces that dated February 1974. The author explains the new aspects: for instance, the national technical certification and the certificate of compliance with international ATP regulations will be replaced by a single document. The fact that European countries do not all apply ATP regulations in the same manner is also explained. The following issue is also raised: when will a European Directive on transport of perishable foodstuffs be prepared?
