Summary

TUNNEL JUNCTIONS ARE FORMED ON SURFACES OF A LANTHANUM, STRONTIUM, COPPER OXIDE COMPOUND AND A YTTRIUM, BARIUM, COPPER OXIDE COMPOUND BULK SPECIMENS. THEIR DYNAMIC CONDUCTIVITY IS SHOWN TO BE SIMILAR TO TUNNELING TO INHOMOGENEOUS SUPERCONDUCTING SYSTEMS AND TO DISPLAY SPECIFIC FEATURES DUE TO ENERGY GAP AND PHONON SPECTRUM OF OXIDES.
