Summary
Presents the results of experimental tests to determine which clean room category can be achieved with turbulent mixing ventilation and under which practical conditions the cleanness category 100 can be maintained, according to the US Federal Standard 209D. Air was supplied via Pridrall swirl outlets and a filter ceiling. Measurements were carried out and the conclusions state that the desired level of air purity was achieved with this system.
