Une approche pour l'analyse selon le second principe de pompes à chaleur à adsorption.

An approach to second law analysis of adsorption heat pumps.

Number: pap. n. 115

Author(s) : CRITOPH R. E.

Summary

An approach to second law analysis of adsorption systems is developed that builds upon Meunier’s (1985) classic analysis of heat input v. temperature. This method calculates the losses that result from all non ideal heat flows by considering the heating (or cooling) effect that they could generate if driving reversible heat pumps (or refrigerators) before reaching ambient temperature. The proposition is that this is more meaningful than, for example, the use of exergy analysis of three or four temperature machines. The benefits of multiple beds with heat recovery are compared and contrasted.
