Summary

ANALYSES THE COSTS FOR CASES WHERE OFFICE BUILDING VENTILATION SYSTEMS ARE EQUIPPED WITH THE MINIMUM OF BASIC PLANT AND THE ADDITIONAL THERMAL LOADS HAVE TO BE REMOVED USING SENSIBLE COOLERS USING CHILLED WATER IN THE RECIRCULATED AIR CIRCUIT. NOTES THAT THIS TYPE OF SOLUTION POSSESSES SIGNIFICANT ADVANTAGES FOR LARGER HEAT LOADS. TREATS ITS SUITABILITY FOR BOTH ORDINARY SPACE VENTILATION AND AIR CONDITIONING INSTALLATIONS IN COMPUTER PLANT ROOMS. APART FROM REDUCING ENERGY COSTS, SEPARATING THE AIR AND WATER SYSTEMS FOR ENERGY TRANSPORT WITHIN THE BUILDING PROVIDES THE ADVANTAGES OF FLEXIBILITY IN DESIGN AND USE.
