Summary
Office environments that contain video display terminals (VDTs) will be evaluated considering principally thermal comfort problems. After an introduction on re-equipment and re-qualification of working places in offices with VDTs, a review of main design solutions is ranked. Particular attention is given to the influence of different offices' layouts, to the results of different air-conditioning systems alternatives and to the possibility of the office workers to control directly their local environmental conditions.
