The proceedings contain the papers of this workshop, held in Wiesbaden, Germany, on September 27-29, 1993. It was organized by the Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Themes: HFC blown polyurethanes; CO2 blown foam and extruded polystyrenes; plastic foam insulations; evacuated panel insulation; absorption, adsorption, and Stirling cycle refrigeration; innovative cooling technologies; "natural" refrigerants.
