Summary

The field dependences of the real and imaginary components of the alternating current magnetic susceptibility and the sensitivity of the real component of susceptibility to the uniaxial mechanical load (not higher than 60 megapascals) in the lead-based BSCCO ceramics are investigated at 4.2 and 77 K. The analysis of the experimental data in terms of the critical state model allowed the authors to obtain field dependences of the critical current determined by intergrain junctions and the effective concentration of the superconducting phase.
