Author(s) : RAKOCZY T.

Summary

HERMETICALLY GLAZED AND FULLY AIR-CONDITIONED OFFICE BUILDINGS ARE HARDLY EVER BUILT. WINDOWS CAN BE OPENED AND VENTILATING SYSTEMS CAN BE SWITCHED OFF AT INTERVALS AND ROOM BY ROOM. VENTILATION AND COOLING WILL HENCEFORTH BE NECESSARY, ABOVE ALL ON ACCOUNT OF THE INCREASING MECHANIZATION OF WORKING PLACES. THE EXTERIOR COOLING LOADS ARE OF HARDLY ANY IMPORTANCE WHEREAS THE INTERIOR COOLING LOADS HAVE GAINED IMPORTANCE AND HAVE THUS INFLUENCED THE DESIGN OF VENTILATING SYSTEMS. THE CONVENTIONAL VENTILATING SYSTEMS HAVE BEEN EXTENDED BY THE SO-CALLED < SOURCE VENTILATION >. IN THE PAPER, THE RESULTS OF THE ECONOMIC ANALYSES OF 3 VENTILATING SYSTEMS WILL BE PRESENTED.
