Indoor-climate practitioners are increasingly turning to ventilation in order to achieve the minimal energy consumption required by heating regulations introduced in 2000 for residential and small commercial premises. Certain controlled mechanical ventilation/heat-pump systems are used to cool and heat renewed air.
