Water-air heat pump: high or medium temperature?

PAC air-eau : haute ou moyenne température ?

Author(s) : BERNIER J.

Type of article: Article, Review, Case study

Summary

The functioning of outside air-to-water heat pumps is limited by the temperature of the water which can be raised more or less, according to the systems. Certain heat pumps are unduly called high-temperature heat pumps. In existing houses, the improvement of the insulation associated with the installation of a medium-temperature heat pump gives much better energy results (benefits) than the installation of a high-temperature heat pump.
