USING X-RAY, ELECTRON MICROPROBE ANALYSES, RESISTIVITY AND MAGNETIC MEASUREMENTS, INITIAL COMPOSITIONS AND CONDITIONS AT A SOLID STATE SYNTHESIS WERE CHOSEN WHICH MADE IT POSSIBLE TO PREPARE BISMUTH-AND THALLIUM-CONTAINING HTSC SAMPLES, WITH A MAXIMAL CONTENT OF 2223 PHASE.
