WHAT FUTURE FOR THE HEAT PUMP IN NEW RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS.

QUEL AVENIR POUR LA POMPE A CHALEUR DANS L'HABITAT NEUF.

Type of article: Article

Summary

THE STATE OF THE ART OF HEAT PUMPS IS SURVEYED: QUALITY OF EQUIPMENT, SYSTEMS USED IN NEW BUILDINGS: INTEGRAL HEAT PUMPS (GROUND WATER, BURIED COLLECTOR), HEAT PUMPS COMBINED WITH AN ADDITIONAL HEAT SOURCE (EXHAUST AIR, EXTERNAL AIR, ATMOSPHERIC COLLECTOR HEAT PUMPS, ETC). THE TWO ASSETS OF THE HEAT PUMP ARE ENERGETIC PERFORMANCE AND THEDUAL-ENERGY CONCEPT WHICH MAY BE DISSOCIATED. ECONOMICALLY, DIRECT ELECTRICAL HEATING IS DIFFICULT TO COMPETE WITH AND NEW TECHNIQUES SHOULD ENTAIL ONLY AN OVERCOST COMPARABLE TO THE PRICE OF THE SUPERINSULATION REQUIRED WITH THE FORMER CASE. TESTS ON HEAT PUMPS COMBINED WITH ADDITIONAL STORED ENERGY ARE PRESENTLY BEING CARRIED OUT AND THEY APPEAR TO BE INTERESTING. J.L.
