Why carbon dioxide? Why not?
Author(s) : MCDONALD K.
Type of article: Article, Case study
Summary
While many in the industry continue to be suspicious when it comes to the potential of natural refrigerants, the use of carbon dioxide (CO2) in particular applications has proved to be safe, effective and, even better, cheap. It is also becoming increasingly popular. A recent seminar organised by the Natural Refrigerant Transition Board looked at worldwide trends in CO2 refrigeration, various applications and the critical equipment now available for engineers and contractors.
