Summary
Working conditions were studied in the cold stores of the Salvesen company. Constraints at -25 deg C are: manual tasks, physical work, individual protection, etc. It is possible to improve working conditions: protective clothes specially designed for the company, utilization of double gloves, automotive trucks with a heated cabin at 15 deg C, radiocommunications with fork-lift truck operators, training of staff, etc.
