THE AUTHOR PRESENTS THE TRENDS TO THE REORGANIZATION OF THE COLD CHAIN AND ITS ECONOMIC MODERNIZATION IN ORDER TO DECREASE FOOD WASTES. RESULTS ARE GIVEN FOR A STUDYOF THE REQUIREMENTS FOR COLD STORES, THE BUILDING OF COLD STORES IN CAVES, OF SMALL AND MEDIUM CAPACITY DISMOUNTABLE COLD ROOMS AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE REFRIGERATED CONTAINERISATION SYSTEM AND THE TECHNIQUE OF CONTAINERSHIPS.
