Jordan looks to curb HFC emissions
The Jordan Ministry of Environment will start identifying sectors producing short-lived climate pollutants including HFCs.
The Jordan Ministry of Environment will start identifying sectors producing short-lived climate pollutants (SLCPs) – including HFCs – under a USD 123,000 grant agreement signed on 11 March 2015 with UNEP.
Under the agreement, a unit specialised in limiting the emission of SLPCs into the air to safeguard public health will be established.
