Résumé

Fruits of plum cultivars Dabrowska, Stanley and Valor were picked at different stages of maturity and stored in 3 different temperature regimes in a cold store. Rate of softening was slowest and occurrence of internal breakdown was lowest in fruits picked earliest and stored at -0.5 deg C. At this temperature, ethylene production was greatly inhibited and losses in FW were small. Valor plums stored best.
