Summary
As LNG has become a more and more important energy source, demand for cost effective transport has arisen. Transport flexibility creates new 40 feet container opportunities. For instance, they can be used as a base of virtual pipelines that represent a viable alternative where capital and operational costs of fixed natural gas pipelines make the project too expensive.
