Summary

A report from an interagency study team on materials visiting China from June 19 to 30, 1995. The research topics range from those currently in favour in the US to topics specific to the needs of the Chinese industry. China's primary goals are reflected particularly in highly emphasized areas such as advanced ceramics, intermetallics, and alloys and polymers.
