A HFC-134a based azeotropic refrigerant mixture miscible with mineral oils.

Author(s) : XU J.

Summary

A new HFC-134a-based refrigerant mixture alternative for CFC-12 and its HCFC-based alternatives is put forward. It is azeotropic, zero ODP, non-flammable and miscible with mineral oils. It not only can be used as a drop-in alternative to retrofit the existing CFC-12 refrigeration systems, but also can be exactly used in present HFC-134a refrigeration systems to substitute POE lubricant for mineral oil lubricant.
