Summary

LUBRICANT SPRAY, RISING FROM METAL CUTTING MACHINES IS GATHERED AND THE LIQUID RETURNED TO THE MACHINE. THE ATMOSPHERE AROUND THE MACHINE OPERATOR IS CLEANED WITH A SUPERIOR EFFICIENCY. THE SUCTION PART OF THE SEPARATOR IS FORMED AS A SHAPED INLET. THE AIR, LOADED HEAVILY WITH AEROSOLS IS PICKED UP AND RADIALLY FLOWS THROUGH A ROTATING FILTER MAT. DURING THIS TIME, THE FOLLOWING PROCESSES TAKE PLACE: PORE SURFACES ARE MOISTENED WITH OIL AEROSOLS ; AN OIL FILM FORMS ; DROPS ARE FORMED BY COAGULATION ; SEPARATION OF THE DROPS BY CENTRIFUGAL AND PUSHING FORCES ; AND OIL DROPS ARE CATAPULTED FROM THE FILTER OUTSIDE AGAINST THE FILTER CASING.
