Summary

THE PROGRAMS ARE SUITABLE FOR EXECUTION ON A WIDE RANGE OF COMPUTERS AND MICROCOMPUTERS. THE OPTIONS INCLUDE THE SELECTION OF EITHER THEASHRAE OR THE IIR STANDARD REFERENCE CONDITIONS FOR ENTHALPY AND ENTROPY. THE PROGRAMS ARE PARTICULARLY SUITABLE FOR HEAT PUMP OR REFRIGERATION SYSTEM MODELLING, AND INCORPORATE AN EXTENSIVE ERROR REPORTING SYSTEM. THEY ARE BASED ON THE PURE REFRIGERANT PROPERTY PROGRAM AND THEY INCORPORATE THE OIL-REFRIGERANT DATA DEVELOPED BY BAMBACH FOR R12 AND A PARAFFINIC OIL. APPROXIMATE SOLUBILITY EQUATIONS ARE USED FOR OTHER REFRIGERANT COMBINATIONS.
