ABSORPTION HEAT PUMP FOR UPGRADING OF INDUSTRIAL WASTE HEAT.

Author(s) : SANO M., KUSAKABE H., IKUMI Y.

Summary

THE AUTHORS DEVELOPED THE ABSORPTION HEAT PUMP FOR THE RECOVERY OF HEAT FROM THE REJECTS OF A FACTORY THAT USED THE WATER-LITHIUM BROMIDE COUPLE AS WORKING FLUID. FROM THE WASTE HEAT OF REJECTED COOLING WATER AND LITTLE ELECTRIC POWER THIS PUMP GIVES HOT WATER OR STEAM. FOR TESTING IT THEY INSTALLED IN A SYNTHETIC RUBBER FACTORY A 2,350 KILOW HEAT PUMP ABSORBING THE HEAT OF STEAM AT THE TOP OF THE DISTILLATION TOWER AND PRODUCING STEAM.
