Summary
Active modified atmosphere packaging of fresh tomato fruits was created using low-density polyethylene film with 0.055 mm thickness. The results showed that the respiration rates of fresh tomato fruits increased with the increase in temperature faster than that of the permeability of the film. Packaging weights decreased with increasing oxygen concentrations, and the lower the storage temperature, the heavier the packaging weight.
