Summary
A LARGE-SCALE TEST OF AQUIFER STORAGE OF ENERGY FOR A CURRENT OFFICE BUILDING DESIGN IS STUDIED TO ISOLATE AND ILLUSTRATE THE BUILDING SYSTEMS AFFECTED BY THE APPLICATION OF AQUIFER STORAGE TECHNOLOGY. AQUIFER STORAGE IS A COMBINATION OF PROVEN TECHNOLOGIES, SOME OF WHICH ARE NOT USUALLY MET WITHIN THE BUILDING DESIGN ENGINEER'S EXPERIENCE. A USEFUL ENERGY CONTRIBUTION BY AQUIFER STORAGE TECHNOLOGY CAN ONLY BE MADE WHEN EACH INTERFACE BETWEEN AQUIFER SYSTEM AND BUILDING SYSTEM IS IDENTIFIED AND UNDERSTOOD BY THE BUILDING SYSTEMS DESIGN ENGINEER.
