Summary

THE STUDY SHOWS THE POSSIBILITY OF ACHIEVING THE TIGHTNESS AND LUBRICATION OF LINER AND PISTON OF A HEAT PUMP COMPRESSOR WITH THE INJECTION OF LIQUID REFRIGERANT AT LINER LEVEL. DUAL PHASE FLOW OCCURS AT THE EXPANSION WHICH CAN BE PREDICTED BY THE LOCKHART-MARTINELLI METHOD. THE FLOW MEASURED WITH R114 ON A HEAT PUMP COMPRESSOR IS EQUAL TO SOME PERCENTS OF COMPRESSED FLOW. ENERGY GAIN IS ESTIMATED AT 100 W. DUE TO THE EVAPORATION OF THE REFRIGERANT ONE CAN HOPE FOR A REDUCTION OF THE END TEMPERATURE OF COMPRESSION BY 15 TO 20 K. (Bibliogr. int.
