Advances in cryogenic engineering.

Date: 1900.01.01

Summary

These two volumes include the Proceedings of the 1995 Cryogenic Engineering Conference (CEC), held July 17-21, in Columbus, Ohio, USA. The 252 papers cover the latest developments in all aspects of cryogenic engineering research. Contributions include reports on innovations in: cryobiology; heat and mass transfer (including data on boiling and superfluid helium); magnet technology (with reports on design, performance, and applications); large-scale cryogenic systems, such as the Large Hadron Collider and the Electron Superconducting Linear Accelerator; cryofuels; minesweeping with superconducting magnets; cryocooler applications; instrumentation and control; research on miscellaneous cryogenic machinery, techniques, and safety concerns. Some of the articles will be abstracted in a future issue of the IIR Bulletin.
