Summary

Presentation of an air distribution system with a "diffusion ceiling" made of permeable fabric. An example has existed for two years in a normally occupied 5-room apartment. The "diffusion ceiling" air-distribution system utilized the air space located above a permeable false ceiling as a blowing plenum. The processed air goes initially through a filter that covers the whole room surface, and then the false ceiling made of a run-resistant fabric (Jersey) hanging between supports located around the treated rooms. Due to the air blowing system, a radiative transfer takes place between the walls and the fabric of the false ceiling and is received by the diffusing air.
