Summary

The study carried out on 1900 people working in 445 offices has been able to test on a graduated scale, the viability of a subjective assessment of air quality. The results demonstrate that inter-personnel relationships, the work load and the psychological characteristics of those taking part influence both the assessment of the working environment and the stated discomfort.
