Summary

This paper simulates numerically the airflow and temperature fields at Shanghai International Gymnastics Center on a summer day. The wall temperature distribution as the CFD boundary condition was calculated by way of coupled convective and radiative heat transportation, in which the Gebhart coefficient is revised for the plane radiation source. The software for the simulation is Phoenics. The results show good agreement between the simulated data and the on-site measurements.
