Summary
Alkylbenzenes, which are barely miscible with HFC refrigerants, are chemically stable and show better anti-wear properties than polyolesters. The objective of the study is to examine the possibility of alkylbenzenes with R410A used in residential split air conditioners. As the results, the system applying R410A/alkylbenzenes shows better properties than that applying R22/mineral oil as well as R410A/polyolesters.
