Summary
The paper gives an outline of the ammonia-water absorption refrigerating cycle on the enthalpy-concentration diagram, along with the equations of heat and mass balances of the cycle. Also described are the systems of ammonia concentration of refrigerant vapour and subcooling ammonia-poor solution in the generator, and heat recuperation of absorption in the absorber heat exchanger. Lastly, an advanced regenerative absorption cycle is discussed.
