Ammonia spray evaporation heat transfer performance of single low-fin and corrugated tubes.
Author(s) : ZENG X., CHYU M., AYUB Z. H.
Summary
Evaporation of liquid ammonia distributed by commercial spray nozzles onto a horizontal low-fin steel tube of 3/4 inch diameter located in an ammonia pressure vessel was tested. The heat transfer coefficient data of the low-fin tube are compared with those of a corrugated tube and plain tube.
