ACCORDING TOHEAT AND MASS TRANSFER CHARACTERISTICS IN A POROUS LAYER, A STUDY OF POOL BOILING FROM SINTERED POROUS SURFACES IS REPORTED. THE AUTHORS OBTAINED THE EXPERIMENTAL DATA WITH LIQUID NITROGEN AND THE CORRELATION WAS DERIVED USING BOILING DATA FOR THE CRYOGENIC FLUIDS. THE DEVIATION OF CALCULATION FROM THE EXPERIMENT IS LOWER THAN MORE OR LESS 30%.
