Summary

EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS ILLUSTRATE THAT THE BOILING HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENT OF A SINTERED GEWA-T TUBE IS HIGHER THAN THAT OF THE SMOOTH TUBE AND THAT OF THE POROUS TUBE. ACCORDING TO THEORY AND DIMENSIONAL ANALYSIS, EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS ARE FITTED. A DIMENSIONLESS CORRELATION OF NUCLEATE BOILING HEAT TRANSFER FOR LIQUID NITROGEN IS OBTAINED. THE DEVIATION OF CALCULATION FROM THE EXPERIMENT IS WITHIN ABOUT 18 %, THUS MAKING IT USEFUL FOR TECHNICAL PURPOSES.
