Analysis of the contaminant distribution in a turbulent clean room through CFD simulation.

Author(s) : YANG J., LI X., YAN Q., et al.

Summary

The paper presents the simulation results of different airflow and the consequential contaminant distribution in a turbulent flow clean room. Thermal effect and the density difference between indoor air and contaminants are both ignored according to calculation. The simulation results can be used to direct the future air conditioning design of turbulent flow clean rooms, especially the design of air velocity, arrangement of inlets and outlets, and the evaluation of cleanliness levels.
