Summary

This study aimed at the flow pattern comparisons between line-type clean room and turbulent-type clean room with limitation of clean space. Using multiple components and transient model simulated the flow patterns and air-exchange efficiency of two type clean rooms with cleanliness 1000. The simulation results present that the air-exchange efficiency of in line-type clean room is 0.62 which is comparable to idealized unidirectional-type clean room the air-exchange efficiency is 1. And, the air-exchange efficiency is better than that of turbulent type-clean room 0.37 with the same circulation flow rate.
