Summary

A VERY IMPORTANT PROBLEM OF COLD STORAGE IS THE COOLING OF GOODS STORED WITHOUT PRECOOLING OR THE CHANGE OF TEMPERATURE IN THE REFRIGERATING SPACE DURING COOLING. THE THEORETICAL PRINCIPLES OF AN ANALYTICAL CALCULATION METHOD ARE DESCRIBED AND THE USE OF A PROGRAMMABLE COMPUTER TO SOLVE CONCRETE TASKS IS SUGGESTED. THE AUTHORS SUGGEST TO USE FOR THE PRECOOLING OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES ICE-WATER.
